Each year Carers Week is organised to highlight and celebrate the contribution that carers make with thousands of carers taking part in the many events and activities taking place throughout the UK.The theme for this year is “Prepared to Care?”.
As usual, the Carers Contact Centre will be organising events to recognise, celebrate & inform carers around Telford & Wrekin. You can download a flyer with details of all the week's events here.
Monday 10th June: Information Stand at Telford Town Centre 9am to 6pm
Tuesday 11th June: Carers Forum: Engaging with Health. See Forum page for more details.
Wednesday 12th June: Carers Walk with free lunch for carers. Meet at Park Lane Centre, Woodside at 12 noon for lunch, walk starts at 1pm.
Thursday 13th June: Trip to Trentham Gardens. Outing for carers and cared for.

Friday 14th June: Information Stand at the Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. 9am to 4pm
Sunday 16th June: Family Picnic for Carers and Cared For of Ages at Attingham Park. 12noon to 4pm. Bring your own picnic, blankets and chairs.
